I was born in a small village in Kwantung, China.  I came to the United States when I was a teenager, not knowing any English language.  I attended Edison High, Delta College, and graduated from University of Pacific with a BA in Mathematics.

 

My parents are Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Fun Yep.  They owned & operated Ernie’s Kitchen, a Chinese food pickup & delivery service.  In their retirement years, they enjoyed their days

at Jene Wah center with friends.

 

Jin Goon & I celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary this year (2024).  Our children are Lloyd, Joycelyn, and Ray Troy.  We have six grandsons, ages from 28 to 13 years.

 

After graduation from UOP, I work in San Francisco for commercial insurance companies in the underwriting department for 3 years.  I worked for H&R Block in Stockton for 48 years, 21 years were in the H&R Block Premium office.  I opened this Stockton Premium office & as its Premium Director for several years.  I taught all levels of tax classes for HRB.  I helped taxpayers in trouble with the IRS letters & audits.   I became an Enrolled Agent (EA) in 1980.  My EA license is still current.

 

I joined Jene Wah Board in 2017 after I retired and became their Treasurer a year later.
